Biography

Prior to the war, Hendrik Sinnema was a military aviator. He imigrated 3 years before the war but when the war started he tried to go back which failed due to to invasion of Holland. He then proceeded through to England where he was sent to Canada for training and he then started flying heavy bombers such as the Lancaster. He completed one tour of 30 missions. After the war he became a leading architect. On November 30th, 1990 his medals were auctioned by Christie's
