Biography
Oberleutnant and Kompanieführer Alfred Wolpers got during a reconnaissance mission in the night of 2nd to 3rd October 1944 severely wounded when he stepped on a Russian landmine. In de morning of October 3rd 1944 at 10 o’clock he succumb to his sever injuries. He is later buried at the Soldatenfriedhof in Parkkina-Petsamo. (Petschenga)
