Leutnant Alfred Plettenbauer was mentioned in the Ehrenblatt des Deutschen Heeres, as a Kompanie-führer with I./Pz.Gren.Rgt. 113, specifically for actions at or near Stuhlweissenburg on January 12, 1945.
