Servicenumber 33 481 615.

To secure support of tank destroyers for his company which was pinned down Curtis Behler made 6 trips across shell-swept terrain to deliver firing data. He was mortally wounded but succeeded in calling a comrade and successfully transmiited his last message. He died of his wounds on 23 December 1944.
