Norris B. Case was Perry and Agnes Cases eldest son. He enlisted on 21 September 1942. He was trained at Fort Benning in Georgia. He died on 20 september 1944 prior to the crossing of the river Waal. Just before he entered his boat, his 1st Leiutenant Edward T. Wisniewski was seriously injured. When Case tried to help his 1st Lieutenant, he was killed himself. On 21 September 1944 he was buried at the Temporary American War Cemetery Molenbeek. After the war his body was shipped back to the United States and was reburied at the Woodruff Cemetery, Johnston Township/Indiana.
