Biography
Jonas Kasimir Graf zu Eulenburg was born at Königsberg on July 26th, 1901. He married on September 14th, 1927 at Groß-Plauen with Emmy von Weiß (*Königsberg September 7th, 1903 - +Reinbek January 12th, 1976). The couple had two children; Marie Elisabeth Iginia Emmy and Otto Albrecht Karl.
Jonas Eulenburg served in Poland, the Western Front and at the Eastern Front. He was killed in action on April 8th, 1945 in the Bunzlauer Stadtforst.

15th Septmeber 1943: Kommandeur Grenadier-Regiment 67;
11th November 1944: Führerreserve OKH, Wehrkreis 111;
23rd January 1945: Kommandant Festung Glogau.

Awarded for his defense of Fortress Glogau, which he commanded. Encircled on the 11.02.1945, the city was held until the end of March. Its determined defense permitted numerous Silesian refugees to escape to either Saxony or the Sudetenland.
