    Biography

    Alfred Earl Joynt was the son of Daniel and Ellen Joynt from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

    Alfred Joynt was killed on March 19th, 1945 when his parachute caught fire, trying to bail out of his Supermarine Spitfire after it was hit by anti-aircraft fire.
