Biography

Lucian France Wilkins was born on November 29th, 1917 in Frogville, Oklahoma as the son of George Ellis Wilkins and Minnie Wood. His mother was 1/2 Choctaw Native American. Lucian graduated from Hugo High School in 1938. He enlisted in the Oklahoma National Guard in 1936 and was honorably discharged in 1939. One onth later he enlisted in the U.S. Army.

Lucian Wilkins was killed in action in Italy on December 30th, 1943.
