Biography

Albert Gilbert enlisted in the Canadian Navy on March 27th 1940 and would serve on several ships during the war including the Stadacona, the Sheena, The Avalon, HMS Spragge, the Orangeville, the Peregeine, and the Cornwallis. He would continue to serve with the navy through the Korean Conflict and would end his career with the Canadian Navy in 1960.
