Technician Fifth Grade James L. Robinson (Army Serial Number 39692200), Quartermaster Corps, United States Army, for distinguishing himself by meritorious service in connection with military operations against an enemy of the United States from 16 August 1944 to 8 May 1945, in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Tec 5 Robinson ably performed all duties attendant upon his position as truck driver during the many months of the Division's drive from France deep into Germany. He displayed a high degree of mechanical skill and compiled an enviable record of efficient and trouble-free operation despite adverse road and black-out driving conditions. Tec 5 Robinson willingly accepted responsibilities and proved untiring in his efforts to successfully complete every mission assigned him. His dependability and initiative have been a credit to himself and his organization.
