“Oberst Friebe made an independent decision, one executed with outstanding bravery and leadership, that resulted in the overpowering and pursuit of the enemy. By doing this Oberst Friebe helped the pushed-back left neighbouring regiment to move forward again, successfully shielded the flank of the Division and broke through the enemy-held territory near Kocury.”
