Biography
Max Pfeffer died on December 31st, 1955 (according to engraving headstone) as Soviet Prisoner-of-War in Camp Wolkowo. His last posting was that of Kommandierende General IV. Armeekorps with the rank of General der Artillerie.
He lies buried at the German War Cemetery Tschernzy, Grave 29.
