Cornelis Johan Louis Wolzak lived in the Hague, the Netherlands. He was born on December 14th, 1941 as son to Cornelis Arnoldus Wolzak and Leentje Wolzak-van der Veen. He served as a professional military and 2nd Lieutenant with the Dutch Army. During the German occupation of the Netherlands he was a member of the resistence group "Stijkel". He was arrested on April 5th, 1941 for retrieving and sending German military information to the Allies. Until March 26th, 1942 he was held prisoner in the "Oranjehotel", after which he was transferred to Berlin. Here he was sentenced to death by the "Reichskriegsgericht". Together with 31 other members of the resistance group he was executed. He was the brother in law of Reinhardt Renkema (October 16th, 1919, the Hague - October 13th, 1944, Liegnitz, Poland).
