Citation:
"For meritorious service in connection with military operations in Belgium, Holland, and Germany from 23 October 1944 to 27 April 1945. During this period of combat, Sergeant Frazee performed his duties as messenger and machine gun squad leader in a conspicuously meritorious manner. On one occasion he made his way across several hundred yards of open, fire-swept terrain in the face of intense enemy artillery fire to deliver an important message to an adjacent unit. Returning, he encountered an enemy mine field and voluntarily remained exposed to enemy fire in order to mark the field, thus preventing casulaties among his comrades."
General Orders No. 145 (1945).
