Recommendation:
He has distinguished himself in connection with hostile action by his courageous and tactful conduct, at the same time serving the interests of the Kingdom as operator of the secret transmitting station western Zeeuws-Vlaanderen of the O.D. during the last months of the occupation when this area was isolated due to wartime conditions, radio being the only means of communication with the regional command on the island of Walcheren. He did everything in his power to establish and maintain the connection in spite of all the risks involved like bombing, tracking vehicles etc.
