Biography

William Franklin Mitchall was inducted in the U.S. Army on February 20th, 1942. He served with Company A, 10th Armored Infantry Battalion.
On December 8th, 1944 he was killed in action during the attack on Baerendorf, Alsace.
His remains were buried at the temporary War Cemetery Limey, near Toul, France. On September 23rd, 1948 he was re-interred at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington.
