Lived at 2e Willemstraat 27a in Groningen. Jacobus (Koos) was a member of the Dutch Home Guard (N.B.S.). On 14 April 1945, while guarding a number of captured NSB members and Landwacht, he was shot dead in a firefight with German soldiers near Ureterp.
