Biography

Christopher Lee, the actor who became famous of playing roles as Dracula and Saruman (Lord of the Rings) and in Star Wars served in WW2 as a liaison officer in No. 260 Squadron in North-Africa and Italy. Lee had trained to be a pilot at the Empire training school in Bulawayo, S. Rhodesia at the outbreak of WWII. At some point he was attached to the LDRG and SAS also as liaison officer. At the end of the war he was tasked with interrogating nazi war criminals.
