Jacob ten Cate was born on July 12th, 1920 as the son to Sietze ten Cate (officer of police) and Grietje Boerstra. He married on June 6th, 1946 with Hendrika Schulken (May 14th, 1923, Amsterdam). The couple had three children. After the war, Sietze became Detective with the Politieke Opsporings Dienst (POD). Jacob passed away on August 23rd, 2004.
