The leader of all resistance in Souther Holland, Major Crasborn joined the staff of the Commander, Netherlands Forces, early in 1945, where he continued to direct all armed resistance personnel in Southern Limburg.
During the campaign in Holland this officer has for two months led a group of 120 resistance personnel behind the enemy lines near Venlo. After having completed this operation, he crossed the enemy-line with his group and a total of 110 enemy prisoners. He then came on my staff as Commander Netherlands Forces and looked after all the independent Coys operating under 2nd British army and 1st Canadian army and did essential work in their reformation into light infantry battalions.
