He has distinguished himself in connection with hostile action by courageous and tactful conduct and so serving the interests of the Kingdom, after he had been dropped by parachute as an agent of a secret intelligence service in the Netherlands, having performed a death defying task under extremely trying circumstances, he has escaped to Switzerland and without hesitation tried to reach England, on his way through France he was arrested but managed to escape after two weeks and subsequently arrived safely in London after six months via the Pyrenees and Spanish prisons.
