“Generalleutnant Dr. Hubicki has primary credit for the smashing of the Serbian forces in Macedonia and the swift capture of Üsküb (the latter being crucial for the Serbian campaign). Leading from the front, he personally directed the foremost elements of his Division in a swift and unstoppable advance. He was able to ensure that the enemy, having been beaten once, would not regain his composure and thereby eliminated all further resistance in the bud.”
