    Recommendation:
    For having distinguished herself by performing exceptionaslly courageous and tactful actions in combat against the enemy during 1943 and 1944 in escorting over 300 Allied military, including a large numbers of aircraft crews. She was further involved in tracing and identifying Allied personnel that had escaped from downed planes. Transport of all these people was done by train to the Belgian border during which she acted as escort and handed them over to so-called passeurs. She was arrested in 1944 and sentenced to death but the sentence was not executed. She has rendered valuable services to the Allied war effort.
