Biography

Franciscus Petrus Fontaine owned a bakkery in Amsterdam and was married to Helena Johanna van Rossum. He was a member of a Catholic resistance group. Was arrested in 1941 and arrived at Buchenwald on 2 April 1942. Was transferred to Natzweiler on 10 July 1943 and from there to Dachau on 5 September 1944. There registered as prisoner 99704. On 19 September 1944, he was transferred again to Natzweiler and later died on 14 November 1944 in Dautmegen/Shömberg, an outer camp of Natzweiler.
