"This N.C.O. is most deserving of recognition for her outstanding service in this Depot. F/Sgt. Duncan has sustained a record of excellent Service in the W.A.A.F. As an Administrative NCO, she invariably displays zeal, energy, ability and initiative of a high order in the execution of her arduous dusties. Over a period of years, F/Sgt Duncan has shown her aptitude and versatility in the various sections in which she has been employed. No call on her time is too much and she willingly performs any task allotted to her without hesitation. As N.C.O. responsible for the administrative work in remustering thousands of artisans, in terms of U.D.F. S.O.& I. for artisans, F/Sgt. Duncan displayed outstanding ability and despite the arduous nature of her task, working practically alone she completed the work in a most satisfactory and able manner. Whenever her work requires it, she is more than willing to work overtime and for prolonged periods she has worked for hours into the night. F/Sgt. Duncan has a thorough knowledge of all branches of administration work and has on occasion taken complete charge of the Records Office in this Unit.
In a Unit of this size the control of records is a very large and complicated task. F/Sgt. Duncan has carried out this task in an excellent manner that her efforts are worthy of highest recognition. No work has been too arduous or complicated and no volume of work has been too great. She does not hesitate to work overtime and at no time has the standard of her work been anything but the highest. F/Sgt. Duncan is a good disciplinarian who maintains the respect of all ranks, S.A.A.F. and W.A.A.F. By her willingness and ability this N.C.O. displays a high sense of devotion to duty, loyalty and industry, and her constant energy and willingness, displayed in her work, has been most inspiring."
