Fritz Goldstein left occupied the Netherlands on September 3rd, 1942 via Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal. He arrived by plane in England on May 27th, 1943. Here he joined the Dutch Koninklijke Marine (Navy), from where he was honorably discharged on February 15th, 1946. After the war he worked in the Bata shoe factory in Best, Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands.
