    Biography

    In the 1920's heserved on several ships
    In 1938 he represented the Dutch Govererment during the Red Cross conference in London.
    In 1940 he served as CO of Naval Intelligence.
    During WW2 he served mainly as naval liason in London, advising on British bombing missions on Dutch territory.
    In the 1950's he served as inspector-general in the shipping industry
