"This officer has held a key position in the wireless and radio/telephone organisation of the Allied Air Forces operating in the theatre of the Supreme Commander. He is responsible for all frequency allocation and the coordination of that allocation with the United Kingdom and the Mediterranean Allied Air Forces. Pilot Officer Brooks has carried out his duties in an exceptional manner and has to a very large extent been personally responsible for the little interference with which the air forces in this theatre have had to contend. He has shown great skill in his work."
