Biography

Donald Powell was educated at Bedford Grammaschool after which he went to Sandhurst Military Academy.
He took part in the Mohmand campaign (August to October 1915), East Africa (1 December 1916 to December 1917) and Waziristan (1938). During WW2 he served in Iraq, Syria, Persia.
On 8 August, 1942 he died in a field hospital in England
