“General der Infanterie Geyer proved himself to be an outstandingly brave leader of his Korps right from the start of the offensive in the West. His personal intervention in the foremost lines of his Divisionen led to many great tactical victories by the Armeekorps under his command. Among the most important of these were those that majorly contributed to the seizure of Dunkirk.”
