Biography

He married Elizabeth "Betty" Baxter on September 27, 1946 in Evanston, IL.
He served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II in the 118th F.A. Medical Detachment in the 30th Infantry "Old Hickory" Division.
His tour of duty included England, France, Belgium, Holland & Germany.
He was awarded the Bronze Medal and the Five Star Divisional Medal.
His division landed on Omaha Beach the week of "D" Day in Normandy.
He graduated from Northern Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL in 1949 and practiced optometry for 36 years before retiring on October 10, 1987.
