Landgoed Mariëndaal
Two Dutch ex prisoners were mistaken for English paratroopers and shot here on the spot on 18 September 1944. They were later both reburied in a mass grave at the Oosterbeek cemetery.
The area witnessed heavy fighting in September 1944.
