Crash Site Junkers Ju 87B Stuka's
Thirteen Junkers Ju 87B Stuka dive bombers of 1 Gruppe, 76 Sturmkampfgeschwader crashed due to bad weather conditions during a military air show at Truppenplatz Neuhammer (now: Swietoszow) on 15 August 1939. All 26 airmen were killed. Walter Sigel, their commander, survived.
