Explore the history of aviation through more than 4,500 exhibits located in 3,500 m² of exhibition space, both indoors and in the openair. There’s so much to discover. The Museum has
•36 aeroplanes (including Spitfire, Bf109G2 and Fw190)
•673 model aeroplanes and
•30 piston and turbo jet engines on display.
As well as planes we also have pilot’s clothing, books, documents, carriages, vehicles and general day to day items to see and to marvel at.
The exhibits are arranged in a chronological order with information in both English and German, allowing guests to easily explore the history of aviation at their own leisure.
