The Louwman car museum originated from the private collection of the Louwman family and contains 275 cars; a cross-section of the history of the automobile. A number of vehicles relate to WWII and personalities. There is a Volkwagen Schwimmwagen, the Mercedes Nürnberg 500 of Kaiser Wilhelm II, which was first in the garage in Doorn, Montgomery's Sunbeam S7/S8 engine, donated to him in 1948 and Churchill's Humber Pullmann from 1954.
