Memorial Douglas C-47A

The memorial was erected to commemorate the crew of the Douglas C-47A Skytrain 43-15302 that crashed her on 17 September 1944. The plane was part of the US IXth Troop Carrier Command and joined the deployment of the airborne troops for operation Market Garden.
