Memorial 5th Ranger Battalion
On the Avenue de Bedford Virginie U.S.A. in Vierville-sur-Mer is a plaque commemorating the heavy fightings the 5th Ranger Battalion with help of A, B and C companies of the 2nd Ranger Battalion fought there on D-Day. They've created a breakthrough there for the men of the 29th Infantry Division.
