Memorial Destruction of the Jewish Community Gemünd

In Gemünd a plaque commemorates the destruction of the Jewish community and its synagogue since 1979.

The text reads:

"In honor of the Jewish citizens of our city,
who lost their lives in the years of Nazi tyranny.
Their synagogue stood on this site and was destroyed on November 9, 1938.

City of Schleiden 1979 "
