Memorial Killed Aircrew Heteren
In September 1944, six Allied aircraft crashed around Heteren in four days. A total of 31 crew members were killed. During the Battle of Arnhem Heteren was under the approach route of the resupply flights. This memorial was unveiled in October 2022. It is near the location where on 21 September 1944 Dakota KG340 of pilot Frank Cuer came down.
