Perimeter Route Marker 2: Stationsweg 8

This is a marker of the Perimeter Route. On this route you walk in the footsteps of the Allies who tried to liberate this region in September 1944. Follow the route and discover not only impressive locations and historical events, but also personal stories from civilians and soldiers who were present at these places during the Battle of Arnhem.

The house at 8 Stationsweg was taken by British troops and was part of the British defense line. The Kremer-Kingma family spent seven days with the troops on the eastern border of the perimeter.
