Two information boards remind us of the Judenhaus, a kind of miniature ghetto, which was located at Große Merzelstraße 7 in the late 1930s.
During Kristallnacht (9 to 10 November 1938), the residents and their belongings were attacked.
At the end of October 1940, all Jewish residents there were arrested and deported.
In 1960 the building was demolished and the site leveled, the street no longer exists.
One information board shows the history of the former building, the second shows the names of the residents and what happened to them after their deportation.
