This memorial is located on the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific and commemorates the Americans of Japanese origin who fell during the Second World War. The memorial stone reads:
"IN HONOR OF THE AMERICAN SOLDIERS OF JAPANESE ANCESTRY WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN DEFENSE OF THEIR COUNTRY IN WORLD WAR II.
WE, THEIR COMRADES, PROCLAIM THEM AS HEROES OF OUR GENERATION, AND DEDICATE THIS PLAQUE IN THEIR MEMORY.
