Memorial Neue Dammtorsynagoge

This synagogue was built in 1895. In the Reichskristallnacht in November 1938, the synagoge was heavily damaged, but it was partly repaired and stayed in use until 1943, when a bombardment destroyed the building.

In 1941 and 1942, the synagogue was also used as collection building for Jews who had to be deported.
