31-08-1943: Wellington X HE988 of 166 Squadron RAF, crashed during a mission to Mönchengladbach, 5 crew members, all killed;
22-04-1944: Halifax III HX291 of 433 Squadron RCAF, crashed during a mission to Dusseldorf, 7 crew members, three of them killed and buried in the British Military Cemetery in Heverlee;
22-06-1944: Lancaster I ME843 of 630 Squadron RAF, crashed during a mission to Wesseling, 7 crew members, all killed.
