The Estonian Natonal War Museum is the leading military history research centre and museum in the country. It offers an overview of the military history of Estonia (from 1918 to the Cold War and the new independancy thereafter). Many weapons are displayed and there are also many awards from different countries.
The museum is located in the Viimsi manor, which was owned from 1923 to 1940 by the commander-in-chief of the Estonian armed forces, General Johan Laidoner.
