Chester Cathedral holds many plaques dedicated to fallen soldiers from many wars.
- Plaque for John Phillips Buchanan, who was killed at the Battle of Waterloo.
- Plaque for Colonel Thomas Graham Egerton who gave his life in the Crimean War (1853-1856).
- Plaque in memory of the soldiers of the 2nd Battalion Cheshire Regiment who gave their lives in Afghanistan and Burma in the 19th Century, the First Boer War (1880-1881) and the South-African War (2nd Boer War).
- Plaque in memory of the soldiers of the Cheshire Regiment who gave their lives in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902)
- Plaque in memory of the soldiers of the Chester Imperial Yeomanry who gave their lives in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902)- Plaque for members of the Egerton Family who were killed or missing in the Great War (World War I).
- Plaque for Vice Admiral Wion de Malpas Egerton who died on 1 January 1943.
- Plaque commemorating the HMS Broadsword which was active in the Falklands War.
