IN MEMORY OF THE OFFICERS AND MEN OF 156 BATTALION THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT WHO LEFT THEIR STATION IN THIS PARISH ON SEPTEMBER 18TH 1944 TO FLY TO ARNHEM AND THERE DIED IN THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM.
