Glider Landmark Wolfheze

Next to the road to Camping Lindenhof a landmark has been erected to commemorate the glider landings. These landings, which were part of operation Market Garden, were carried out on 3 landing zones around Wolfheze. The memorial gives an impression of a landing Horsa glider. In 2022 a memorial was erected next to this landmark. And the area around the monument and landmark has been called Peter Colthup field ever since. Peter is a veteran of the Gilder Pilot Regiment with whom the organization couldn't contact in time to also place a text by him on the memorial.
