Oosterstraat 12 was/is a double building, on the right no. 12 & on the left no. 14. The Wolf family had a distribution/parcel post depot there. After the war, no. 14 became a post office, which used to be in the farm at the front of the street, on the ''Molenberg'' (and the barn doors on the Oosterstraat). On the corner of the street stood the flour mill Aurora, which was demolished in 1954. This mill belonged to R. Oomkens, the later post office owner.
