	19		Slight enemy air activity at 0630 hrs when a bomb was dropped; probably in the TIENRAIJ area but no reports were received. Representatives from the 1 Suffolks visited Bn HQ during the afternoon and a recce party left Bn HQ at 1400 hrs for new location. A report was received that a few enemy were at large on our side of the river which resulted in Companies clearing woods in Bn area, but no enemy were discovered. A party left Bn HQ at 0830 hrs for 24 hours at the Divisional Club. Weather was cold and misty and OPs were unable to see opposite bank of river. Patrols out during night 18/19th were two Fighting, two Standing and a Contact patrol but again nothing was revealed of enemy on our side of the river.
